Sais especially are useless af like that. Sais are meant to be perfectly balanced brute weapons where you can flip them around and punch with the end and then flip again and PUNCTURE not slice. Sais aren’t meant to slice so one dangling like that one won’t do anything but scratch people

the nunchuck part kinda seemed pointless and impractical. Cool idea though, but maybe having it detach more like a 3 section staff would have been better?

I am not the greatest expert in armed H2H-combat, but this weapons looks very ineffective in combat to me. Easy to avoid, takes too much momentum, and the tanto is just like that: a short blade (too short in my opinion). And the Sai is misplaced (that damn thing has been invented to catch, block and break katanas, not to jump around in the air while in combat). Why haven't you just build some kind of a double kama chained together with sai-guards and longer blades? Would be more effective in combat than this thing.

The combination of the Bo Staff and Katana already exists as the Naginata; a pole arm with a blade between 30 to 60 cm long. You could have done something with that as the starting base as that blade would have fit the Katana base of the combo weapon you made which is more of Tantō (a Japanese short sword/dagger/knife), some Naginatas have been depicted with a secondary blade coming out from the base on the with blades being facing each other on a right angle, which would be another jumping off point to incorporate the Sais into it. There is also the 3-sectioned staff which would be closer to the combination of Bo Staff and a pair of Nunchakus, though from what I have seen of it online the sections don't seem to connect back into one staff (though that isn't hard to fix).

I think my favorite thing is that it’s technically inaccurate, as Buster is thicker and the handle is shorter with the actual blade being about a third of the sword. Meaning it would be heavier, and even harder to carry
