Whey Protein Powder VS Mass Gainer - Tips For Beginners?
In this video we look at some of the differences between whey protein and mass gainer shakes. When we first start the gym, we don't really know what protein we want to buy and is it even worth it?
The main thing about protein powder is that it is convenient to take. Instead of worrying about hitting your protein levels just from your diet, you can simply supplement with a protein shake to fill this need. Now, protein shakes aren't a necessity, they're just convenient and helpful to hit your protein targets for the day.
Overall to gain weight you have to be in a calorie surplus. This involves taking in more calories than you burn off. If you're new to the gym and tracking calories you can simply just try to eat more calories throughout the day if you're struggling to gain weight, or go with the mass gainer shakes to help you hit your calorie targets for weight gain. (that's if tracking calories properly overwhelms you at the beginning).
When you have more experience with the gym and tracking your food, i'd then opt for the usual whey protein as you wont need to get some calories from shakes when you know what you're doing with your diet, calorie wise.

Hello! I have one question but it may be stupid xD. I just bought whey protein but the scoop measure is in ml. The max is 100 ml. And now I wonder if 100ml is the same that 100gr.
