At first glance this exercise doesn't look that difficult, nor does it look like it targets the glutes while increasing mobility and core activation. And it requires nothing more than a wall or surface you can put one foot on. A few seconds in and you will start to understand the many benefits including core and glute mobility, glute activation, legs strength and stabilization, balance, and core rotational strength. Great for any sport that requires any type of rotational component (like golf, baseball, tennis, mma, lacrosse, boxing, swimming, etc)
Try 3-5 sets on each leg as shown, each lasting 60-90 seconds. Rest 30 seconds in between sets.
