As of the time of this video, I've been an e-bike rider for a little over 2 years. I firmly believe that purchasing an electric bike was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It has helped both my finances and my quality of life.
I try to ride as many days of the year as I can. In southern California, I have the benefit of pretty good weather most of the time, which means most of my commuting miles any given week are usually done on my electric bike.
This ride is my longest regular commute; an 18 mile ride out to my church. (36 miles round-trip.) For any of you watching this who may be considering the purchase of your own ebike, I hope this video helps to you to have an idea about what the riding experience is like.
My bike is powered by a Bafang (8fun) BBSHD mid-drive motor that produces 1,000 watts of nominal power (~1500 watts peak power). It runs off of a 52v, 21ah battery, which gives me over 1 kilowatt-hour of charge for incredible range. This bike will cruise at 28-30mph on flat roads all day long, and it can handle most hills around 25mph.
If you have any questions about getting your own electric bike, leave them in the comments below!
Iam not sure how watching a video of somebody just riding an ebike can be fun but i absolutely loved it lol i may get a go pro for my ebike now, thanks dude.
I love my 02 & HD! They make riding fun again. I can easily get in a 30 mile ride on a charge at well over manual speeds. Such a simple conversion too. I do wear my battery in my Camelbak on 1 bike. I will be changing that to a frame mount soon.
That's dedication bro ?

I don't know...that bear looked pretty big to me! Nice ride you guys. Thanks for posting
We are headed up to the Farmington Canal Loop next month to ride! Thanks for video. It looks like you explore that area often from your other videos. What is your favorite trail in the area and why? Speaking of bears, while we were riding the Greenbrier Rail Trail in WV, we met a couple who had 2 juvinile bears run along side of them playing. I was so jealous . It would have been amazing to get THAT on video. No bears, but still a beautiful ride. Here is the Greenbrier video if your interested in checking out the trail https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyysWYoLWmM&t=102s. We subscribed and look forward to future videos.
