Novaes Junior

Boa tarde!

Ivan

pelopes netto

Boa noite amigão! Ele tem a função natação ?? Eu nado em mar aberto.

Marco Antonio

Amigo eu consigo tirar o LAT LONG?

Diego Caliman

Ele permite q eu nade no mar? Pois meu polar, ressecou e entrou água, danificando.

Clésio Bocard

Boa tarde. No ciclismo ela funciona?

Poderiam me recomendar algum?

Caso sim, qual a diferença deles?

Cesar R Moreira

Anyone know how to activate cycling on the Garmin?

ITsupportian

By the way, my fitbit is dead, after so many charges

schorafas

For the calories burned issue. The watch will estimate depending your fitness level. So 124 average HR will burn less if you are a very fit person and a lot more if not. Also Garmin will estimate totally different at the end of your session if you select the exact sport and not just leave it at Other (this is performed from the upper right corner)

pakfrd

You stated you wore both watches on the same wrists... perhaps that's why you have a discrepancy? My forearms are huge, so if I wore two watches on one wrist then one watch would be trying to read through a lot of muscle, etc, vs at my actual wrist as they were designed.

Mari Van der Merwe

This watch is so pretty, but can you really compare it to the Versa? This is the type of watch I would wear to work and corporate events, but definitely not to the gym.

Thank you for your reviews, very informative.

Mariamelia Matuszsewski

I have used garmin vivosmart for 3 years and I love it. I'm trying to figure out what to by. Your video made me think about the screen size on the garmin, that really is a con for me. My question is, if the Fitbit has a set steps goal or changes every day like the garmin does. Thank you!

schwarzenemes

Wow - first video, from which you may indeed have some details about the vivomove hr.
Thank you!

Jerry Brown

Garmin just created the ability to have a stylish watch for work and you can switch to one of their fitness trackers after work and they sync up all your daily stats, No one else does that. They key is a good looking dress type watch. Apple no for men, Fitbits is just ugly

Stephanie Lauren

Have you looked into the misfit fitness watchs? I wanted this Garmin, but looks like it won't fit my needs. Fitbit needs to come out with a more watchy looking tracker.

Jason Cooke

Does anyone know what face she is using for her versa?

Juliet Henshaw

I think comparing Garmin to Fitbit is kind of ridiculous. That being said, I bought the Garmin Vivomove as a fitness tracker that I could wear at work to keep track of steps and stairs. For workouts, I have a Garmin 935, which is the BOMB! There is a major difference between a fitness tracker and a GPS workout watch. I had several fitbits that lasted for only a several months and the software consistently had connection issues and the data was super limited.

windamirinda

hi! what material is a "glass" of this watch? i think it is a plastic, not mineral glass :/ vivomove hr

liliana vertiz

I like that model of Garmin. Very traditional!

Jacob Bali

I love my Fitbit, but this review exudes shadiness. Most of her comments against the watch are based on her assumptions rather than facts.
Next time do your research please ?

qazi faisal

lol Garmin vs fit bit is not even a fair challenge lol Garmin wins every single time only challengers to Garmin are coros ,suntu and polar.

Nancy Lopez

So excited... was waiting for this video. I’ll stick with my versa too. Thanks.

ITsupportian

Versa sucked. I have both. Feels like kinda Bias in here. Always Garmin is step ahead. Versa is a pain to use, synching issue

Paul N.

Fitbit is inaccurate trash with the worst customer service on earth. Garmin isn’t perfect but their steps, distance, calories, etc is pretty damn spot on lol. Fitbit on the other hand over exaggerates your steps and distance or undercuts them and it’s extremely frustrating. What’s the purpose of doing cardio and/or weightlifting if your stats are off by a landslide? I Just made the switch from a Fitbit Versa to Garmin after a year, and I’m very upset that I didn’t go with Garmin from the beginning. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way ?.

Myrsini Maglogianni

Manders I am a huge fun of you and was intrigued with the fitnesstrackers you use. I just purchased a garmin vivoactive but I can not figure out how to track my crossfit workout! If anyone can hepl me, I would appreciate!

Katherine Davey

I have the black and rose gold watch, best buy ever

Dennis Rogers

Sorry tried many smart watches and found the perfect one.

Hate dead screen displays. Got the new Vivomove hr luxe, much better than the older vivomove.

Love how it has physical hands and looks stylish and expensive which the luxe is.

The new one has upper and lower screen display and Miles better, it even measures oxygen in the blood. The new luxe shows full message and scroll the message pages.

And no optical hr is accurate .

I think the viviomove luxe is the best looking smart watch and the best balance between fitness and smart feature.

The new viviomove has variability. Have heard many who have had a proper vo2 max was close, not perfect but close. The sleep data is more than fitbit like even in sleep measure oxygen and breaths per minute and checks this all day also. So the vivomove tracks a lot more data than fitbit. So far the vivomove luxe has been more accurate with sleep data and think it is using breathing also to know when your going to sleep.

Brittanie Klucker

I bought the versa after watching your review on it and love mine! I was really attracted to the looks of the garmins over the fitbits but now I’m glad that I went with the versa!

Sarina Ronning

What Fitbit wrist strap do you use??

Levin Hinder

The fitbit Versa is in minimum a 100 dollars more expensive and it is a fitness watch. The Vivomove HR is for daily use.

Angela Abrams

Thanks for this, and it DID help me to make a decision!!

Pradeep Karunanidhi

?

LibbyOMG

I love my Garmin...mostly because it's not ugly and bulky like a Fitbit!!

Sara Friske

Garmin stress is measured via HRV according to app - in the app if you click on stress widget then click help in top right corner it states that is how it is calculated.

Jack H

Not really a fair comparison is it now. The Garmin Vivomove is nothing like the fitbit versa. Maybe should have compared the Vivoactive 3/3 music instead and you'd find that kills the fitbit versa as a sport watch. The Vivomove is targeted at people who want an office watch or day to day watch. The fitbit versa is a sport watch only.

John

All I want... is a smart watch that looks like a traditional timeless watch. I don't get why people go for Apple Watches and things that'll look dated as the next models roll out rather than something that has always looked good through the decades.

Ashley Taylor

Im looking into getting garmin vivoactive 3, I want to get into running after I have my baby, and garmins are pretty much in the lead behind apple watch on tracking runs. Plus I want a watch that is accepted on all devices and is compatible with most chest heart rate monitors. That pretty much eliminates apple watch and fitbit. I had a fitbit versa for a month, and although I liked it, it just wasn't for me. I also like that garmins watch faces are round, I like the digital analog look and fitbit is the least appealing when trying to find a watch face that is analog, I take a lot of vital signs at work and its annoying to have to use a timer to count vitals. I'd rather be able to just look at my watch faces second hand. I do think that fitbits have the best sleep trackers though.

Des F

Just to piggy back off of someone else’s comment, I’d definitely recommend you return that Garmin and try out either the Vivoactive 3 ($200) or Vivoactive 3 Music ($250). They seem more similar to a Fitbit since they have a full screen face and better fitness tracking stats

matt roulston

Couldnt tell what the watch looked like since the sun reflected off the watch

Jessica Medina

Just got the Garmin Vivomove and I use it as a secondary watch since I already have the forerunner. Forerunner does not look good at work and in business meetings. So I can do my workout in the morning with my Forerunner, put on the Vivomove and it syncs my steps, love it!

jjd24

What about as a second watch? Currently having an Apple Watch, downside battery and look; thinking of getting this one (discount) for office work. Thanks

Mathias Rhein

Hmmm, interesting pick of Garmin device for a fitness feature comparison. With virtually any other Garmin device, coupling it to a chest strap would have enabled you to check on your fitbit HR accuracy. Also, virtually any other Garmin watch has an always-on, completely customizable screen without ever having to activate it by turning your wrist. Really helpful for glances on the screen while you are in a completely different movement pattern ;-). The problem is that Fitbit neither offers a hybrid watch and is the only big player not letting you track HR via chest strap. I do a lot of HIIT and wrist data, no matter the brand (I owned an Ionic) sucks big time when the movement involves wrist flexion. Sorry, but you just compared apples to pineapples.

Van Zsur

I personally like the versa .do you also know the difference in price?

Janice Dublanko

I totally agree...Fitbit versa for the win!!!

Marnie Griffith

I have the Versa and LOVE it!

Mick Malins

I just wanted to see if it looked too big on a woman's wrist. Just put the dang watch on already.

Ashlee Shearer

Hey Manders! I have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 I have the music version but I don’t think it makes a difference. I would love to see you compare Fitbit with! I was a diehard polar user before this watch but needed something that looked a little more professional that had all the features. Just a thought!

Michael Lee

The older Garmin fitness trackers are garbage for gym based exercises. I think the new ones (Venu and Vivoactive 4) are better but I haven’t used it. For me Apple Watch is #1, followed by Fitbit at this point.

google user

The garmin VA3 had low calorie burn compared to my versa. VA3 on shelf now. Love my versa.

Brittany Nelson

Been researching/comparing watches lately so this definitely helps, but still haven't decided yet.

Amelia Austin

Have you ever experience a shock/tingling sensation in your hand or arm while using your Fitbit Versa or know someone who has? I got one for Christmas and I had to take it off already. I’ve been using a Garmin Forunner 35 for over a year and I’ve never felt anything like that. I love the Fitbit app tho so I’m really disappointed that it’s doing this...

Mackenzie Windress

I’m getting a second hand Garmin for highschool this year I hope I like my new Garmin ?

Peter Mitchell

Garmin make crapwear!

Chandler Williams

Love that your Christmas tree is in the background of this one!!!❤️??

Zahira Margarita

I Love my Garmin. And a correction about the notification of the messages if you select the message and keep swiping you can read the full message?

dtoussi22

Thanks for this comparison. My fiance has the Vivosmart 3 and was also wondering what the stress measurement meant, so I googled it and found this as the first result, directly from the Garmin site/help page for the Vivosmart 3 (which I imagine the technology should be the same for their other watches):

"Your device analyzes your heart rate variability while you are inactive to determine your overall stress. Training, physical activity, sleep, nutrition, and general life stress all impact your stress level. The stress level range is from 0 to 100, where 0 to 25 is a resting state, 26 to 50 is low stress, 51 to 75 is medium stress, and 76 to 100 is a high stress state. Knowing your stress level can help you identify stressful moments throughout your day. For best results, you should wear the device while sleeping."

let's get old!

Very helpful ??

Arianna Fernandez

Great comparison video! I always see the Garmin ads on my feed and wondered how well it performed.

Nadine Chiara

Really good video! I also have the fitbit versa and i will not change to garmin i guess haha:D One question: When you track your workout, does it count only the cals you burn during the workout WITHOUT your normal calorie burn, without basal metabolism? Or does it also show you the calories you burn with your basal metabolism? And do you click on ''pause'' between your resting time ( i rest 30 seconds to 1:30, it depends, do you click on pause during that time)? And one last question haha: Do you track your workout at the gym only under the category ''weights''? Thank you in advance <3

Shelly BroncoMomma

I have had a Fitbit Charge 3 for two years, it’s been awesome for what it is. The size of the display on the Garmin is enough to decide not to get that model. Thank you!

Yoga By V

Wow, such different results, this has been very helpful. Thank you!

Andy Garcia

I love the versa 2, but aside from that, Garmin is leaps and bounds the better fitness watch.

Zoey K

Hey your amazing just had to say lol what keeps you with Fitbit I love the versa but also like the galaxy watch not a fitness person but want to get in to fitness as hate the way my body looks thanks xx

Kristie D.

Thank you for doing this video. Idk why people feel the need to write shitty comments. I'm still up in the air with what to buy... I love how the Garmin looks but isnt it too dressy for working out and running? And as far as the fit bit ... it's just like a big bulky black screen laptop on your wrist. And as for replacement bands they seem harder to come by with garmin.

Talks With TJ

Got my mom a garmin fitness tracker for Christmas this year. She jumped on the early morning workout train this year and loves it. Happy to help her see all of her progress.

Tim Bennett

I’ve practically had them all honestly. I’ve had garmin forerunner 935, 645 music, fenix 5x plus, vivosmart 4, etc. for Fitbit I’ve had the ionic, versa, charge 2. And I’ve had a few Apple watches as well. Out of all of those the Apple Watch series 4 is the best for overall accuracy. It hands down has the best heart rate monitor and it tracks steps and calories rather well compared to the other pure fitness trackers. You should check one out and compare it to your versa. You may have a new replacement for that versa if you do.

matt roulston

Deff a biased opinion

Casey Marie M

I love my fitbit charge 3. Honestly don’t think I’d stray away from fitbit.

Nikita VJ

A hint for people looking at the versa.. I'm here because mine broke due to a fault with the watch... Please do your research on it before buying.. You'll thank me later.

ImaTChure

I have the Versa per your recommendation. This year, I jumped back into the exercise world after recovering from a back injury. I love my Versa and how I can customize it for myself. Great comparison video! I appreciate the time you place into such a detailed review!

Brian Hillegass

Was looking into both those and this video helped me make a much more informed decision! Thank you!

Theodore Teow

Just a heads up about the VO2MAX score. I did a vo2 test at an exercise physiology lab and the score was below 1 unit of measurement of the Garmin's score, so it was pretty accurate.

kayla jean jordan

Will you ever do an Apple Watch vs Fitbit video???

Steph Koch

I had a fitbit for years but changed to a garmin when i was doing long distance running. I think there are pros and cons with both. My workouts definitely calulate less calories burned with Garmin too and the sleep tracker is definitely not as accurate as the fitbit, there are times I know I was awake and got up and it just didn't record it. I also prefer thr fitbit app. But for running and cycling, garmin provides a lot more data. I have the 935 at the moment which does both open water swimming or laps in the pool. But I think I will go back to fitbit next as I'm not able to run anymore and I think it's better for almost everything else :-)

Ukko

Wait, so everytime you try to see the time, the hands move away?

Daniel Dan

I think you seriously need to test these out for a month, You aren't giving any of these products enough of a chance. Maybe the Garmin isnt as good, but it literally shows in your video that you only used it for 4 days.......... not accurate. at least 30-60 days I think is fair. I think you're just bias of the FitBit products.

Laura

That garmin is a lot less sophisticated than other garmins. I would try something like a forerunner/fenix/vivoactive if you want real fitness/sports watch.

Ash1006 H

I have the Garmin Fenix 5S and I love it! It's waterproof and I don't have to worry about it when I shower, swim, etc. I also like that it's not a touch screen because I've found with other fitness watches when it's a touch screen random things happen (like music randomly starts playing from my phone haha). The Fenix allows also allows you to view more stats during a workout and you can add apps to aid with tracking, for example I added a Crossfit app to mine and love that I can track my rounds during a WOD with a touch of a button... because let's be real if it's more than 3 rounds I lose count lol I so appreciate this review and enjoy your videos... Also so excited about your new adventures in Iowa; it's a great place to be :)

Stephanie Meza Martinez

Girl I just love you and your videos!!

Nichole Palmisano

Have you done a Fitbit vs Apple review?

KaitSox21

Does your Fitbit automatically track/"know" when you wake up? On mine I notice that it continues to think that I'm sleeping until I manually sync to the app. It's kind of frustrating and I didn't know if you had the same issue with yours.

Kimberly Noble

I wonder if your tattoos affect the heart rate results? It supposed to be able to see the amount of blood running through your veins, but I’m curious of the ink would impact that? I also remember hearing something about Fitbit’s accuracy with dark skin tones not being great.

cogen651

Versa 2 talks to Alexa, it's a no brainer now.

Joey Chapple

What about the music features? Does Garmin use Spotify? I have the Versa, but I'm not a fan of Pandora. I wonder if you wore the Garmin longer does the data change after it has enough days of data collection ie, know when you sleep vs chilling out.

LORD OF THE SOUTH

Garmin are the best fitness tracking Smartwatches on the market hands down. Even build quality is Superia compared to Fitbit thats without mentioning the different type of technology in the watch. Anyone out there knows it that Garmin is number one in this. Great review though very well done.

Zjwave84

Actually whis watch has a atmosphere rating of 5ATM meaning is completely resistant to water up to 40m or 130 feet. The only thing it cant do while submerged is detect heart rate.

Thomas

How do you get that much sleep?!!! Also my versa is all over the place when judging my sleep. I don’t fully trust it, so I just assume it’s in the ballpark of how much I sleep. I would kill for 8 hours of sleep though

Product walk through of the Garmin Vivosmart HR with built-in Heart Rate Sensor, activity tracker, step counter, floors climbed, sleep monitor and calories burnt.

Note: You may see EU and UK models on some sites. The only difference between the EU and UK models is the packaging & quick start manual. The EU manual comes with multiple languages. The UK Model has only English.

Like many modern fitness bands the Vivosmart comes in a couple of sizes. Getting the wrong size, especially if too big, will give problems getting accurate heart rate as the back of the watch will not site snug on to your wrist. Just use a piece of string to measure your wrist circumference.
