Yeah. I know for a lot of people this isnt an accomplishment. But considering my history the ability to walk 2.5 miles in 92 degree weather is pretty impressive to me! I hope it might be to you sa well and can help encourage you to get up and get moving!

It's been years since I watched one of your videos and you look like you're doing great. Much healthier looking and I would say the vitamin D from the sunlight is helping with mood and health too. Great too see your taking gradual steps towards exercise. That's a great achievement to go from 0.5 miles too 2.5 miles. That's the great thing about exercise, you can set your own personal goals and when u gradually achieve them you feel like you want to push the goals even further, which in turn makes you even more proud. walking + low carb (keto) is perfect. the body needs to adjust. so, sometimes taking a break for a day is good too.
stress is the worst and damaging long term. relaxed walking is the best to keep the stress hormone cortisol low.
with low cortisol from walking you burn body fat and do not get that hungry.
with high cortisol from running you burn calories - not coming from body fat - but from glucose and amino acids which makes you hungry.
that is the difference. so, take your breaks and enjoy the process. if you do too much, it will damage to you.
i have the feeling that you already know to find the right intensity.

I have PTSD that can be triggered by dogs, and if you cant keep your dog away from other people, I would need the dog on a leash.
My neighbor has let their dog walk up to me, didnt have a leash, and I fell over in an uncontrollable seizure-like fit, someone called the police too.
